Belichick pulls Mac Jones for Bailey Zappe in Patriots loss to Bears | FIRST THINGS FIRST
New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick said he told both Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe to be ready to play against the Chicago Bears last night. Jones got the start, but quickly was replaced by Zappe early in the second quarter after he threw an interception. Belichick said the interception did not have anything to do with the benching. Zappe led the team to two quick touchdowns to take the lead but followed it up with two interceptions in the 33-14 loss. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes discuss.
